How can I trust Thyrocare's quality?

Can I make payments after I receive the test reports?

No, you need to make the payments before the sample collection process. If payments are not made, Thyrocare technicians will refuse to collect your samples.

Can I cancel the prepaid booking and get a refund?

You can only get a refund in the following scenarios.

• If your booking process is completed but there aren't any technicians in your location.
• If multiple bookings have been done from the customer's end because of technical malfunctions.
• If Thyrocare has not made enough attempts to provide required services.

What if any of my tests are cancelled?

If tests booked by you are cancelled from the lab's end due to pre-analytical or technical issues, then you will be informed about it via email or sms. You will also be asked whether you wish to go for a recollection or a refund. However, if some tests are already done and the reports are generated, then you will be refunded partially, which will be credited to the beneficiary account directly.

How soon will I receive the test reports?

Once the sample collection process is over, you will receive the test report via email within 24-48 hours excluding the transit time and processing time.

Is a doctor's prescription needed to avail any test facility?

Although a doctor's prescription is not required to avail any preventive healthcare package, it is recommended to consult a physician before taking a test in case of any illness.

What are the ideal timings for sample collection at my home?

For fasting test profiles, the ideal time for sample collection is between 6.00 AM to 11.00 AM in the morning. For non fasting test profiles, the sample collection time limit is till 7.00 PM.

What is fasting and for which test profiles is it needed?

Some of the test profiles require fasting, which means, the individual applying for the test must avoid consuming food, beverages for at least 10-12 hours before the test process. Only the consumption of plain water is allowed.

Is same day blood collection possible?

Yes, same day blood collection is possible depending on the availability of phlebotomists in your location.
